Cederik Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neycho Mudrov in the 13th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Neycho Mudrov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cederik Huts. Kickers United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Neycho Mudrov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Neycho Mudrov notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Kickers United's Cederik Huts. Cederik Huts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquim Xavier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cederik Huts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Cederik Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhang Chen in the 33rd minute of play. Cederik Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neycho Mudrov in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Junior in the 37th minute of play forced Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kenny Van Den Eynden came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Kickers United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenny Van Den Eynden couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute Neycho Mudrov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cederik Huts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kickers United's Cederik Huts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neycho Mudrov in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinícius Junior to make the kick off. Neycho Mudrov scored 0-5 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cederik Huts, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Capivara FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dominik Lanckneus in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Kickers United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Neycho Mudrov fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva Tavares in the 68th minute of play forced Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cederik Huts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zhang Chen took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cederik Huts. Cederik Huts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Kickers United made a substitution. Nicolaas Van Bombergen replaced Antonio Netels. Capivara FC made a substitution. João Francisco Mota replaced Manoel Garrincha. Doriva Tavares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Cederik Huts made a huge save. With a little luck, Kickers United's Cederik Huts got control of the ball when Doriva Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cederik Huts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Mota in the 82nd minute of the match.
