The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Alvaro Pagomari reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Samuel Sena. The goal made the score 1-0. The Waldos's Alvaro Pagomari got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grêmio Platinos Juniors's Samuel Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Platinos Juniors from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the game, Alvaro Pagomari recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samuel Sena. Alvaro Pagomari showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 12th minute, Grêmio Platinos Juniors's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marin Ştefănescu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alvaro Pagomari did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Samuel Sena 13 minutes into the match. Alvaro Pagomari might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Pagomari ran back to his position shaking his head. David Dewulf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Senna in the 17th minute of the match. Samuel Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jann Bavneby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Sena made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Jann Bavneby sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute, The Waldos's Alvaro Pagomari ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Sena. Samuel Sena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. 28 minutes into the match, Grêmio Platinos Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Pagomari came free, but Samuel Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With splendid footwork Fidel Erdiano arrived in front of goal to shoot 5-0 by the left pole in the game's 29th minute. Samuel Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Pagomari in the 31st minute of play. Samuel Sena stood somewhat misplaced when Alvaro Pagomari came free in front of goal and shot 6-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute. In the 37th minute, Alvaro Pagomari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Waldos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Samuel Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Pagomari, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jann Bavneby kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Samuel Sena. That made the score 8-0 in the 41 minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Grêmio Platinos Juniors's goalkeeper Samuel Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jann Bavneby.

In the 52ndth minute of the game Alvaro Pagomari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio Platinos Juniors's Samuel Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jann Bavneby in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Sena saved Grêmio Platinos Juniors from getting behind. After having played for 54 minutes, Marin Ştefănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Waldos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marin Ştefănescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kazimierz Madajczyk hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Nestor Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Dewulf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grêmio Platinos Juniors were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after The Waldos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cléber Sá took the corner. After 61 minutes of play, The Waldos's Marin Ştefănescu made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Sena was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the match, Alvaro Pagomari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Sena. Grêmio Platinos Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Pagomari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. In the 70th minute, Jann Bavneby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Sena was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio Platinos Juniors's zone, Kazimierz Madajczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Sena came out of the goal and Kazimierz Madajczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th match minute, Grêmio Platinos Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio Platinos Juniors's zone, Jann Bavneby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Sena came out of the goal and Jann Bavneby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 minutes of play, The Waldos's Marin Ştefănescu made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Sena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuel Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jann Bavneby in the 82nd minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, The Waldos's Jann Bavneby made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Sena was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the game, Marin Ştefănescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-0. Samuel Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 16-0 when Prudencio Isias sped through Grêmio Platinos Juniors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuel Sena.
