Spectators: 167 (Terracing: 126, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Almir Salgado started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remy Van Eyken in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovanildo Mendi saved Vila Zumbi - Férias from getting behind. Geovanildo Mendi made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Remy Van Eyken sent off a good shot on target. Simon Blomquist kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Remy Van Eyken recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geovanildo Mendi. Remy Van Eyken showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Fabian Söderström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Almir Salgado in the 22nd minute of play. Geovanildo Mendi was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Remy Van Eyken capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Remy Van Eyken really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Remy Van Eyken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovanildo Mendi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Vila Zumbi - Férias's goal looked a bit too open when Remy Van Eyken came free, but Geovanildo Mendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Haithabu FC got a corner. Vila Zumbi - Férias's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conrad Vrolijcx ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Vila Zumbi - Férias booed when Haithabu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Önder Kaçan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute Remy Van Eyken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanildo Mendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marc Van Beets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remy Van Eyken made a kick off. Remy Van Eyken might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovanildo Mendi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remy Van Eyken ran back to his position shaking his head. After 54 minutes, Ferdi Kadıoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vila Zumbi - Férias and the Haithabu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Vila Zumbi - Férias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdi Kadıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. Remy Van Eyken took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovanildo Mendi. Geovanildo Mendi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 61 minutes of play, Haithabu FC's Remy Van Eyken made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanildo Mendi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Pereira in the 64th minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Remy Van Eyken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vila Zumbi - Férias's Geovanildo Mendi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute, Rigoberto Piearres made a precise shot to the right of Geovanildo Mendi. Vila Zumbi - Férias's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Geovanildo Mendi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rigoberto Piearres's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The corner ended in Conrad Vrolijcx almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vila Zumbi - Férias's Geovanildo Mendi did a great save. After some careless play in the Vila Zumbi - Férias defense, Rigoberto Piearres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovanildo Mendi. The Vila Zumbi - Férias fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovanildo Mendi should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute Rigoberto Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanildo Mendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's Rigoberto Piearres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovanildo Mendi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Vila Zumbi - Férias getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Guilherme Vianna hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Guilherme Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vila Zumbi - Férias's Geovanildo Mendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Piearres in the 88th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, Haithabu FC's Rigoberto Piearres made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanildo Mendi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geovanildo Mendi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Piearres went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Haithabu FC had played much better football throughout.
