With a left leg Bernardino Dimas saved Atlético Rio Cuarto from getting behind. Willy Van Linthout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Montel in the 9th minute of the match. Bernardino Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Van Landschoot, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Willy Van Linthout made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Angelino Inautzi sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Angelino Inautzi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Atlético Rio Cuarto's goal looked a bit too open when Brend Schrevens came free, but Bernardino Dimas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Atlético Rio Cuarto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Cordarryl to maneuver through the defense. Paul Fiedler scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardino Dimas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute Paul Fiedler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Angelino Inautzi made the kick off in the second half. Bernardino Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brend Schrevens, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Thys Mangelschot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Dimas having to interfere. The supporters of Bruly booed when Atlético Rio Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Abeitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Brend Schrevens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Ferrari hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Atlético Rio Cuarto made a substitution. Bruno Tabor replaced Angelino Inautzi. After 96 minutes of play, Atlético Rio Cuarto's Bruno Tabor made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Willy Van Linthout was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Atlético Rio Cuarto were victorious despite being under pressure from Bruly for much of the match.
