Fabien Canu started the match with the kick off. Fabien Canu might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Szczęsny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabien Canu ran back to his position shaking his head. 5 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Fabien Canu came free, but Franco Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fabien Canu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Szczęsny was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. A collision led to Clube Audax Metropolitano getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Claudinho Quadros hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Taillade came free, but Franco Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Cedric Van Langhendoncx throw himself and got hold of the ball when Haisenberg Dolar in the 19thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haisenberg Dolar in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cedric Van Langhendoncx saved Lunar Park from getting behind. Cedric Van Langhendoncx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haisenberg Dolar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clube Audax Metropolitano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Shi Ying Jian in the 29th minute. A nice corner shot did that Károly Mátrai got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cedric Van Langhendoncx quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 31 minutes Lunar Park's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Shi Ying Jian who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Clube Audax Metropolitano's Shi Ying Jian to fire away a dangerous shot which Cedric Van Langhendoncx despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lunar Park's Fabien Canu got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haisenberg Dolar in the 36th minute of play forced Lunar Park's goalkeeper Cedric Van Langhendoncx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lunar Park's Fabien Canu in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fabien Canu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franco Szczęsny having to make a save. In the 57th minute Fabien Canu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube Audax Metropolitano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlos Taillade was slow to take the kick. During this time Lunar Park's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Lunar Park's Tomasz Juzda getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some careless play in the Lunar Park defense, Eriberto Netto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cedric Van Langhendoncx. The Lunar Park fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cedric Van Langhendoncx should have stopped the shot. Lunar Park's Cedric Van Langhendoncx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Netto in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Lunar Park was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derviş Okan to maneuver through the defense. Cedric Van Langhendoncx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Ying Jian in the 80th minute of the match. Cedric Van Langhendoncx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjørn Ironside in the 84th minute of play. Franco Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Canu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Lunar Park's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Audax Metropolitano the free kick. When Yazid Larnicol fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lunar Park's protests and gave Yazid Larnicol a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Clube Audax Metropolitano booed when Lunar Park was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yazid Larnicol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clube Audax Metropolitano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lunar Park for a fine match.
