In the 12th minute, Yiğit Haşmetli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Özalp Haliloğlu struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Seçkin Eroğul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Indiana University. SOMINECO's Seçkin Eroğul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Kemal Akman in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Indiana University getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. İbrahim Zikri hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Baykal Acabey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. SOMINECO's supporters rose to their feet, but Mir Güzel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frits Lenoir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yiğit Haşmetli in the 38th minute of play forced SOMINECO's goalkeeper Seçkin Eroğul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Yiğit Haşmetli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Seçkin Eroğul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Yiğit Haşmetli took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Seçkin Eroğul to make any attempt to save it. 46 minutes into the match, SOMINECO's goal looked a bit too open when Yiğit Haşmetli came free, but Seçkin Eroğul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After 85 minutes SOMINECO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hikmet Temirkut who took care of the corner kick. Indiana University's Hikmet Temirkut was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Seçkin Eroğul in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Görkem Baloğlu in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Seçkin Eroğul saved SOMINECO from getting behind. Seçkin Eroğul didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Indiana University's Görkem Baloğlu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience was convinced that Görkem Baloğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Seçkin Eroğul was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
