Bai Jian Chen was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Fausto Pinti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fausto Pinti really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Damiano Battisti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo van der Struijk in the 17th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Pinti got free with Bai Jian Chen in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eurospeed Asti's Elia Pietrantoni managed to work through Buenos y Malos Ayres's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Elia Pietrantoni dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Despite this Damiano Battisti quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Eurospeed Asti getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Mehmet Canaydin hit a great ball.
