In the 8th minute Cheng Chao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Foubert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymond Foubert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheng Chao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zheng Liang Song's late challenge caught a Turbo Koksy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zheng Liang Song helped the player get up and apologised. Zheng Liang Song hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cheng Chao in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raymond Foubert saved Olympique Salonais from getting behind. 16 minutes into the match, Turbo Koksy's goal looked a bit too open when Tang Xi Zhen came free, but Patryk Ranc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patryk Ranc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zheng Liang Song in the 19th minute of play. Patryk Ranc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zheng Liang Song, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Olympique Salonais's goal looked a bit too open when Cheng Chao came free, but Raymond Foubert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheng Chao in the 28th minute of play forced Olympique Salonais's goalkeeper Raymond Foubert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hector Etxepare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Olympique Salonais's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Crespin came free, but Raymond Foubert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Esteve Crespin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Raymond Foubert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cheng Chao in the 37th minute of play. Patryk Ranc made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Hector Etxepare sent off a good shot on target. Hector Etxepare who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Patryk Ranc when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 38 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Olympique Salonais's Hector Etxepare fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Patryk Ranc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zheng Liang Song in the 44th minute of the match. Patryk Ranc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zheng Liang Song in the 46th minute of play. After 46 minutes of play, Olympique Salonais's Zheng Liang Song made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patryk Ranc was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Song Peng Xi made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Olympique Salonais defense, Cheng Chao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raymond Foubert. The Olympique Salonais fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raymond Foubert should have stopped the shot. In the 56th minute, Esteve Crespin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Turbo Koksy's Virgilio Willett was substituted for Anak Agung Agafonnikov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Song Peng Xi in the 59th minute of play forced Turbo Koksy's goalkeeper Patryk Ranc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Olympique Salonais's goal looked a bit too open when Cheng Chao came free, but Raymond Foubert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patryk Ranc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Etxepare in the 63rd minute of the match. Patryk Ranc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Song Peng Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olympique Salonais's Ghislain Lajus was substituted for Cheng Feng. Olympique Salonais's Hilario Chale was substituted for Zheng Liang Song. Hilario Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patryk Ranc having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Song Peng Xi in the 88th minute of play forced Turbo Koksy's goalkeeper Patryk Ranc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olympique Salonais's Raymond Foubert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Olympique Salonais from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Olympique Salonais's Ghislain Lajus got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Patryk Ranc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Chale in the 95th minute of play. Hilario Chale might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patryk Ranc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hilario Chale ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Olympique Salonais lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
