The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Caveira F.C's Iuri Peixoto got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 minutes, José Maria Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caveira F.C and the Club Atlético Magallanes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético Magallanes booed when Caveira F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Samuel Pereira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Magallanes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caveira F.C the free kick. After 30 played minutes Club Atlético Magallanes got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Pereira. Paulão Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jimeno Nevada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Caveira F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Rami came free, but Richard Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caveira F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuel Pereira was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Magallanes's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Serafin Hug got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 38 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Caveira F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Silviano Huilcaman came free, but Richard Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silviano Huilcaman, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Kaká Furlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimeno Nevada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silviano Huilcaman made a kick off. The supporters of Club Atlético Magallanes booed when Caveira F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Carlos Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aquiles Joey came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Club Atlético Magallanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Joey couldn't finish the play. Richard Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviano Huilcaman in the 54th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Silviano Huilcaman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard Mandrak was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silviano Huilcaman in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Mandrak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Richard Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Joey, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 56th minute Aquiles Joey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquiles Joey spun around in front of the goal 56 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Caveira F.C's goal. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Silviano Huilcaman sped through Caveira F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Richard Mandrak. The audience was convinced that Taci Argün's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard Mandrak was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. The Club Atlético Magallanes fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Club Atlético Magallanes's Taci Argün looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Samuel Pereira took the corner. 89 minutes into the match, Silviano Huilcaman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Mandrak. Caveira F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silviano Huilcaman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Magallanes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
