Hartlepool's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Åke Stål showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Luciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hartlepool's goalkeeper Åke Stål, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Luciano in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Åke Stål saved Hartlepool from getting behind. Mebarek Mammeri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Hüseyin Orak in the 33rd minute of the match. Christian Luciano struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Åke Stål didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chop Chop F.C.. Charlie Jansson kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Luciano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ralf Johnsson's late challenge caught a Chop Chop F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralf Johnsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 minutes, Fabian Fager mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hartlepool and the Chop Chop F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabian Fager hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Hartlepool's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Luciano came free, but Åke Stål reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute of the match Chop Chop F.C. got a corner. Hartlepool's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After taking down the ball on Chop Chop F.C.'s corner Daniel Dahleb fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Åke Stål quite easily take care of the ball. Hasan Hüseyin Orak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mebarek Mammeri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute of the match Hartlepool got a corner. Chop Chop F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After a defensive mix-up in Hartlepool's zone, Christian Luciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Stål came out of the goal and Christian Luciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chop Chop F.C. made a substitution. Nassim Horr replaced Chadli Boudjedra. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hartlepool's goalkeeper Åke Stål, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Åke Stål managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Chop Chop F.C.'s Ahmed-Muhammed Muhammed fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 80th minute Hasan Hüseyin Orak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mebarek Mammeri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Stål didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmed-Muhammed Muhammed went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ahmed-Muhammed Muhammeds short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Åke Stål to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 91 minutes, Ahmed-Muhammed Muhammed managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chop Chop F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmed-Muhammed Muhammed was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chop Chop F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
