The supporters of 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB booed when Hartlepool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Rask didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hartlepool's zone, Aigar Ojaperv stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Stål came out of the goal and Aigar Ojaperv tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd match minute, 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göktuğ Demir to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Frans Frisk put in a rough tackle. Hartlepool:s Åke Stål showed great skill when he stopped Leonides Xacintu:s penalty. Åke Stål was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB had played much better football throughout.
