Günalp Talip kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Adalberto Nueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Tabor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adalberto Nueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Tabor in the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Tabor in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adalberto Nueva saved Iron Maiden FC from getting behind. Iron Maiden FC's Adalberto Nueva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Farid Verrecchia in the 10th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Iron Maiden FC's Günalp Talip slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lev Yashin. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arın Biçim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Arın Biçim came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iron Maiden FC's Adalberto Nueva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri Nedellec in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Tabor in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adalberto Nueva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lev Yashin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dave Murray in the 35th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Iron Maiden FC's goal looked a bit too open when Farid Verrecchia came free, but Adalberto Nueva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Le Stade Briochin UC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitri Nedellec in the 46th minute of play forced Iron Maiden FC's goalkeeper Adalberto Nueva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Le Stade Briochin UC defense, Dave Murray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lev Yashin. The Le Stade Briochin UC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lev Yashin should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Tabor to strike the kick off in the second half. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Torrent in the 54th minute of the match. Lev Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Murray in the 58th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jaime Tabor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adalberto Nueva was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 61st minute Dave Murray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rdth minute of the game Farid Verrecchia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iron Maiden FC's Adalberto Nueva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Le Stade Briochin UC booed when Iron Maiden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Fuente didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Iron Maiden FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bruce Dickinson hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Dave Murray's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lev Yashin was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After 72 played minutes Le Stade Briochin UC got a freekick which was hit by Farid Verrecchia. In the 75th minute Jaime Tabor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lev Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arın Biçim in the 76th minute of play. Lev Yashin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arın Biçim went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janick Geers in the 82nd minute of play forced Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iron Maiden FC's Rob Halford was substituted for Clive Burr. In the 87th match minute, Iron Maiden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günalp Talip to maneuver through the defense. Iron Maiden FC's Adalberto Nueva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Iron Maiden FC from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Iron Maiden FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luc Szymanski was slow to take the kick. During this time Le Stade Briochin UC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luc Szymanski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adalberto Nueva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Sacha Mignon got a free kick in the 91st minute. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arın Biçim in the 94th minute of the match. Iron Maiden FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Le Stade Briochin UC for a fine match.
