After 13 minutes of play, ............'s Arnaldo Alsua made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ron McGrath was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, ............'s Arnaldo Alsua sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ron McGrath narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ............ were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Lord of the Wings's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peter Achenbach took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Arnaldo Alsua managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gábor Joó in the 27th minute of play forced ............'s goalkeeper Roman Masharov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arnaldo Alsua came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the ............ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Alsua couldn't finish the play. Ron McGrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Alsua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Lord of the Wings's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Alsua came free, but Ron McGrath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ron McGrath prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Alsua in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ron McGrath saved Lord of the Wings from getting behind. After 43 minutes of play, ............'s Arnaldo Alsua made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 59th minute Peter Achenbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron McGrath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
