Esbjörn Forssell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 12 minutes into the match, Mario Dewaele had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esbjörn Forssell. Wrexham A.F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Dewaele was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Ángel Mena took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esbjörn Forssell. Esbjörn Forssell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. With a little luck, Wrexham A.F.C.'s Esbjörn Forssell got control of the ball when Mario Dewaele tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esbjörn Forssell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Dewaele in the 20th minute. Rune Hedvall hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Spencer in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esbjörn Forssell saved Wrexham A.F.C. from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 10-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrik Pihlgren to strike the kick off in the second half. Esbjörn Forssell came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by RockCity F.C.'s Alberto Spencer. But to his dismay, Alberto Spencer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sture Brolin during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Wrexham A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sture Brolin. Esbjörn Forssell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ángel Mena in the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ángel Mena in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esbjörn Forssell saved Wrexham A.F.C. from getting behind. Wrexham A.F.C.'s Esbjörn Forssell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the game, Alberto Spencer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-0. Esbjörn Forssell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wrexham A.F.C.'s Esbjörn Forssell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Dewaele in the 75th minute of play. Esbjörn Forssell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 16-0. Alberto Spencer scored 17-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esbjörn Forssell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Esbjörn Forssell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Spencer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Wrexham A.F.C. defense, Mario Dewaele kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esbjörn Forssell. The Wrexham A.F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esbjörn Forssell should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the game, RockCity F.C.'s Mario Dewaele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esbjörn Forssell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 19-0. After 96 minutes, Rune Hedvall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wrexham A.F.C. and the RockCity F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 98 minutes of play, RockCity F.C.'s Mario Dewaele made it 20-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esbjörn Forssell was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. RockCity F.C. had played much better football throughout.
