A hard shot by Şahap Cezar from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Ademir Baptista's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Zdzislaw Domarecki came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Matungo Gaúcho's Gilmar Borges. But to his dismay, Gilmar Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Zdzislaw Domarecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wong Eadan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Matungo Gaúcho getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Patrik Grönberg hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Matungo Gaúcho's goalkeeper Ademir Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jurand Jaraczeski. In the 23rdth minute of the game Anatol Hönes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Onyx's Zdzislaw Domarecki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Wong Eadan made a precise shot to the right of Zdzislaw Domarecki. Onyx's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Zdzislaw Domarecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anatol Hönes in the 28th minute of the match. Zdzislaw Domarecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatol Hönes in the 31st minute of play. Zdzislaw Domarecki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrik Grönberg's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Wong Eadan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jurand Jaraczeski charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jurand Jaraczeski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Matungo Gaúcho booed when Onyx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurand Jaraczeski didn't get a good kick on the ball.
