Passa o Tanque MZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elmas Loco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Passa o Tanque MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ole-Gunnar Klose came free, but Cafu Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dunamis's Nicanor Erramun got a free kick in the 26th minute. Lino Padilla hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Dunamis's Elar Quero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo de Godoi in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Dunamis's Elmas Loco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cafu Xavier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elar Quero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo de Godoi in the 35th minute of play. When Passa o Tanque MZ's Téo de Godoi in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dunamis's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Nuno Ferreira put in a rough tackle. In the 54th minute, Nuno Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Elmas Loco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cafu Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole-Gunnar Klose in the 58th minute of play. In the 65th minute Lucjan Sowa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cafu Xavier came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Dunamis's Franco Murillo. But to his dismay, Franco Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 71st minute, Lino Padilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Murillo in the 75th minute of play forced Passa o Tanque MZ's goalkeeper Cafu Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Passa o Tanque MZ defense, Franco Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cafu Xavier. The Passa o Tanque MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cafu Xavier should have stopped the shot. If Wellington Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elar Quero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes of play, Passa o Tanque MZ's Téo de Godoi made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elar Quero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Franco Murillo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Cafu Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Sowa in the 92nd minute of play.
