A collision led to La Pointe Courte getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Cidro Flores hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Ubaldo Gonzales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jolan Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, La Pointe Courte's Roch Felenak dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A throw-in in the 12th minute of the game was made by Baldomiro Domeka with Cirilo Eron as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 14th minute Ubaldo Gonzales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jolan Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jolan Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ernesto Fe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roch Felenak in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of La Pointe Courte booed when Cavallino Rampante II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Domeka didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Prestin in the 25th minute of play forced Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Ernesto Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Antonis Mavrofidis put in a rough tackle. 35 minutes into the match, Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Ernesto Fe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roch Felenak. Ernesto Fe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roch Felenak's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Joaquin Matai kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. La Pointe Courte's Jolan Galindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Gonzales in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Prestin in the 41st minute of play forced Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Ernesto Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jolan Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Garin in the 43rd minute of play. Carmelo Sugar's late challenge caught a La Pointe Courte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Sugar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute La Pointe Courte were awarded a corner. Josué Pagueguy went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Josué Pagueguy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ernesto Fe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Ubaldo Gonzales fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cavallino Rampante II's protests and gave Ubaldo Gonzales a yellow card for diving instead. Ubaldo Gonzales hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 52nd minute, Josué Pagueguy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candido Garin, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Josué Pagueguy kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Candido Garin shot from long distance in the 55th minute, but Jolan Galindo was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 57th minute, Wilfredo Leoiar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jolan Galindo. The goal made the score 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Gonzales in the 61st minute of play forced La Pointe Courte's goalkeeper Jolan Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Eron's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jolan Galindo firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Yves Leite sped through Cavallino Rampante II's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernesto Fe. In the 89th minute, Yves Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th match minute, Cavallino Rampante II was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Polentzi to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Cavallino Rampante II's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Leite came free, but Ernesto Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jolan Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Garin, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Ernesto Fe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Leite in the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Oja came free, but Jolan Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cavallino Rampante II players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Pointe Courte.
