Nando Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Alejo Urtsin made a huge save. Nitra FC were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Caleufú's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Oliver Veentjer took the corner. Caleufú's Alejo Urtsin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Caleufú from getting a goal against them. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabiano Trabucco was the one to do the kick off. Jerônimo Maranhense was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aldo Olando. 54 minutes into the match, Fabiano Trabucco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerônimo Maranhense. Nitra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabiano Trabucco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Nitra FC's Nando Pinho got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejo Urtsin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan da Cunha in the 62nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Caleufú's zone, Williams Ferrari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Urtsin came out of the goal and Williams Ferrari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Alejo Urtsin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute.
