Freddy Basajaun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Theo Fil made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Xentrias's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Aguiar came free, but Theo Fil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Theo Fil threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sandro Aguiar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 25th minute, Aaron Molander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benny Stolpe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Xentrias's Theo Fil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Basajaun in the 28th minute of play. Benny Stolpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Molander in the 30th minute of play. Benny Stolpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doctor Mugg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Joinville S.German-FSCMZ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Tiago Penha hit a great ball. Xentrias's Christer Peterson was substituted for Albert Rudberg. The supporters of Xentrias booed when Joinville S.German-FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benny Stolpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magdaleno Andersson in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match, Magdaleno Andersson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benny Stolpe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Benny Stolpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Almstedt in the 82nd minute of play. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ made a substitution. Vladimir Albuquerque replaced Freddy Basajaun. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's Fumo Erva was substituted for Casimiro Padro. Joinville S.German-FSCMZ's attentive Fumo Erva managed to snatch the ball when Jonatan Axelsson made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Xentrias walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
