Luisinho Ceresso was slow to take the kick. During this time Olivedos's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Oliveira in the 13th minute of play forced Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Armando Bonelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47th play minutes Donato Oliveira shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Armando Bonelli and just under the crossbar into goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Di Sipio was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdo Dantas got free with Armando Bonelli in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donato Oliveiras short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Armando Bonelli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 65 minutes into the match, Edoardo Meo notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Olivedos's Abelardo Maranhense. Abelardo Maranhense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Armando Bonelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdo Dantas in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Oliveira in the 70th minute of play forced Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Armando Bonelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Cosme. After 83 played minutes Sorci Viola got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Tarantini. Armando Bonelli made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Cássio Ferraz sent off a good shot on target. Cássio Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Bonelli having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sorci Viola's Antonello Tarantini got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Armando Bonelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Ceresso in the 92nd minute of play. Sorci Viola's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Donato Oliveira scored to the left of an out of position Armando Bonelli, making the score, 2-5. The Sorci Viola supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Olivedos's performance. The match ended with a win for Olivedos.
