Cezary Sitko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Furman in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Hao Chen Hao got control of the ball when Wieslaw Zawacki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidio Furman might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cezary Sitko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
