Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stanislaw Koczara took the kick off in the first half of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nojus Bikas came free, but André Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidijus Merkelis came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Templars FC's Stanislaw Koczara. But to his dismay, Stanislaw Koczara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute Nojus Bikas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nojus Bikas took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Courtois. André Courtois dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Nojus Bikas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Courtois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Templars FC's goalkeeper André Courtois, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adelino Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidijus Merkelis having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nojus Bikas made the kick off in the second half. André Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nojus Bikas in the 57th minute of play. If Nojus Bikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislaw Koczara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidijus Merkelis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Geležinis Vilkas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pere Bombardier to maneuver through the defense. Templars FC made a substitution. Jonathan Sammut replaced Stanislaw Koczara. Sten Svanström hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Templars FC's André Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nojus Bikas in the 81st minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Jonathan Sammut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidijus Merkelis. Geležinis Vilkas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Sammut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 90 played minutes Templars FC got a freekick which was hit by Sten Svanström. When Nojus Bikas came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Geležinis Vilkas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nojus Bikas couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Templars FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Geležinis Vilkas throughout the match.
