In the 11th match minute, Club Sportivo Italiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilhelm Steinitz to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Arturo Ardines had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Daudet. After 19 minutes, Hilario Rayman made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Weltevedren's Tadeo Vazquez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Weltevedren's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Pes came free, but Tadeo Vazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rodrigo Daudet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Arturo Ardines, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mieszko Piszczor got free with Arturo Ardines in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rodrigo Daudet fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Weltevedren's protests and gave Rodrigo Daudet a yellow card for diving instead. Rodrigo Daudet kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Arturo Ardines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Daudet in the 39th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evelio Pes during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Evelio Pes hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Arturo Ardines came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Weltevedren's Mieszko Piszczor. But to his dismay, Mieszko Piszczor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Sportivo Italiano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! Rodrigo Daudet shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Weltevedren made a substitution. Alessio Presutti replaced Flavio Aversa. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The audience was convinced that Enrico Trotta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Ardines was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. When Rodrigo Daudet came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Weltevedren fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Daudet couldn't finish the play. Arturo Ardines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Trotta in the 58th minute of the match. When Weltevedren's Mieszko Piszczor in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Sportivo Italiano's goalie prevented a goal. Arturo Ardines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Daudet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Weltevedren were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Club Sportivo Italiano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodrigo Daudet took the corner. After taking down the ball on Weltevedren's corner Rodrigo Daudet fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arturo Ardines quite easily take care of the ball. Mieszko Piszczor kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Arturo Ardines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mieszko Piszczor in the 70th minute of the match. If Evelio Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Italiano's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Daudet came free, but Arturo Ardines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilario Rayman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Sportivo Italiano's Arturo Ardines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Daudet in the 82nd minute of play. When Weltevedren's Rodrigo Daudet, in the 82nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Weltevedren. Arturo Ardines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mieszko Piszczor in the 84th minute of play. With a little luck, Weltevedren's Tadeo Vazquez got control of the ball when Evelio Pes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evelio Pes struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Tadeo Vazquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportivo Italiano. Evelio Pes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tadeo Vazquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Hilario Rayman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
