Benny Bur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Tocchetto in the 7th minute of the match. The Sledgehammer KO fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Sledgehammer KO's Marcus Allbäck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Allbäck in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Mian saved Herberia Herons from getting behind. Giuseppe Basso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Benny Bur skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 15 minutes into the match, Leonard Åhman notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Herberia Herons's Diego Mian. Diego Mian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes in the game Eugenio Gallo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristoforo De Tommasi. After 20 played minutes Herberia Herons got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Gallo. Diego Mian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Åhman in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of Sledgehammer KO booed when Herberia Herons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Bergomi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sledgehammer KO's Benny Bur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Marchesani in the 24th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Herberia Herons! In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Sledgehammer KO. Marcus Allbäck stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Diego Mian. 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giuseppe Basso got free with Benny Bur in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Mian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Åhman in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Allbäck to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Sledgehammer KO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doctor Sócrates to maneuver through the defense. Benny Bur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Tocchetto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Herberia Herons's Ercole Bizzarri got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th match minute, Herberia Herons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ercole Bizzarri to maneuver through the defense. Diego Mian didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Benny Bur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Tocchetto, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Benny Bur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Tocchetto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Marcus Allbäck took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Diego Mian to make any attempt to save it. Alfredo Ranieri replaced Ercole Bizzarri. Herberia Herons's Diego Mian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Herberia Herons from getting a goal against them. Diego Mian made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Marcus Allbäck sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th match minute, Herberia Herons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Bergomi to maneuver through the defense. Herberia Herons's Anthony Guidone was substituted for Eugenio Ruggieri. Arturo Bergomi hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Marcus Allbäck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Mian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. After having played for 80 minutes, Marcus Allbäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sledgehammer KO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Allbäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herberia Herons's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Leonard Åhman scored to the left of an out of position Diego Mian, making the score, 0-9. Sledgehammer KO's Leonard Åhman got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Marcus Allbäck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diego Mian. The goal made the score 0-10. 91 minutes into the match, Rune Fanström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diego Mian, 0-11. Benny Bur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Basso, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Leonard Åhman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Mian having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sledgehammer KO had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
