The audience thought a goal was coming when Camron Rhodes got free with Frans Snell in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frans Snell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camron Rhodes in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute Leicester Lions were awarded a corner. Benny White went to the cornerflag to take it. With 31 minutes on the clock, Tony Cheeseman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 32 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Tony Cheeseman. In the 33rd minute Marc Lagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Blacknell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes Leicester Lions's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jim Brenner who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Team Xtra personell's Frans Snell got control of the ball when Bobby Pirés tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Darling in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frans Snell saved Team Xtra personell from getting behind. Bobby Pirés could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Frans Snell made a huge save. Grant Blacknell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Björnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Benny White managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leicester Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Benny White was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frans Snell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 53 minutes, Orvar Skager mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team Xtra personell and the Leicester Lions players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Team Xtra personell fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! The Leicester Lions fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Leicester Lions's Bobby Pirés looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benny White kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Lucas Darling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frans Snell was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Team Xtra personell's goalkeeper Frans Snell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rdth minute of the game Bobby Pirés who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Xtra personell's Frans Snell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bobby Pirés in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frans Snell saved Team Xtra personell from getting behind. Grant Blacknell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Olsson in the 78th minute of play. Lucas Darling took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frans Snell. Frans Snell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Bobby Pirés sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jim Brenner hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Connor Branston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michal Budzyn kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Lagerberg in the 91st minute of play forced Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Leicester Lions's Connor Branston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frans Snell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Michal Budzyn got a free kick in the 97th minute.
