Manoel Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Morientes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th match minute, Olímpico Blumenau FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Arce to maneuver through the defense. Lamine Jamal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Manoel Schmidt made a huge save. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olímpico Blumenau FC's goalkeeper Manoel Schmidt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ansu Fatić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manoel Schmidt having to make a save. Manoel Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ansu Fatić in the 91st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ansu Fatić managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Tarragona 2006's supporters rose to their feet, but Ansu Fatić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manoel Schmidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Olímpico Blumenau FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Tarragona 2006.
