A collision led to Renascer getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Silas Leão hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Melo in the 26th minute of play forced Renascer's goalkeeper Claudinho Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, José Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinho Saldanha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 33rd minute, José Lima made a precise shot to the right of Claudinho Saldanha. Renascer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 38 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Munhoz notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Renascer's Claudinho Saldanha. Claudinho Saldanha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudinho Saldanha came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Cevada's José Lima. But to his dismay, José Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aílton Gerber to make the kick off. With splendid footwork Pedro Luís Munhoz arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-7 by the left pole in the game's 51st minute. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Diogo Melo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sport Club Cevada's Pedro Luís Munhoz was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Renascer's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Vieira came free, but Claudinho Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinho Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 73rd minute, Pedro Luís Munhoz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Renascer's Claudinho Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogo Melo in the 74th minute of play. Sport Club Cevada made a substitution. Ermano Villahoz replaced Diogo Melo. If Carlos Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Luís Munhoz succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-12. Sport Club Cevada's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
