The corner led Club Getafe Deportivo's Vlad Ţăranu to fire away a dangerous shot which Costin Jecu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 40th minute, Curcio Carballeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Ireno Peon got a free kick in the 44th minute. Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Raphael in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benito Raphael was the one to do the kick off. In the 91st minute, Curcio Carballeira made a precise shot to the right of Costin Jecu. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
