The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Zachary Kicia made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Safet Jovanović sent off a good shot on target. Safet Jovanović's late challenge caught a BuBu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Safet Jovanović helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BuBu booed when CACYFA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Safet Jovanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Konrad Jankowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Quirce was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Adrian Czornomazs short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Zachary Kicia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, BuBu's Bernard Makarewicz got a free kick in the 71st minute. BuBu's Nicola Zalewski was substituted for Leszek Scislowicz. CACYFA's Gaspar Dunixi was substituted for Safet Jovanović. The supporters of CACYFA booed when BuBu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position.
