Andries Van Mechelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Erauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Andries Van Mechelen came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marco Erauso. But to his dismay, Marco Erauso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The throw-in from Vincent Van Mechelen in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Thiago Neves. Marco Erauso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Erauso might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andries Van Mechelen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Erauso ran back to his position shaking his head. Andries Van Mechelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Erauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Erauso might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andries Van Mechelen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Erauso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th minute Marco Erauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andries Van Mechelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes YR Mechelen got a freekick which was hit by Joery Van Mechelen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Erauso in the 47th minute of play forced YR Mechelen's goalkeeper Andries Van Mechelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Paul-Louis Van Mechelen made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Leo Van Mechelen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Kauan Furlan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 53rd minute, Marcos Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When YR Mechelen's Paul-Louis Van Mechelen in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Paul-Louis Van Mechelen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amauri Félix was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Marco Erauso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute Marco Erauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andries Van Mechelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marco Erauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Erauso in the 63rd minute of play forced YR Mechelen's goalkeeper Andries Van Mechelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andries Van Mechelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Erauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes of play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marco Erauso made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andries Van Mechelen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Erauso might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andries Van Mechelen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Erauso ran back to his position shaking his head. Andries Van Mechelen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Erauso in the 73rd minute of the match. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marco Erauso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of YR Mechelen booed when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Marco Erauso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Andries Van Mechelen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Erauso's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. The corner led Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marcos Siqueira to fire away a dangerous shot which Andries Van Mechelen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marco Erauso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andries Van Mechelen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
