RB Chubut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Les Presidents FC the free kick. Paco Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durval Aparecido in the 6th minute of play. After 10 minutes, Teobaldo Gaztea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RB Chubut and the Les Presidents FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Les Presidents FC booed when RB Chubut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Gaztea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes, Les Presidents FC's Marcus Pihl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paco Zamora came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Les Presidents FC reached it. Paco Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Thielemans in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Les Presidents FC's goalkeeper Kuido Undusk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobaldo Gaztea. RB Chubut's Paco Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Aparecido in the 22nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Durval Aparecido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paco Zamora was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 25th minute Hermelando Coello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

RB Chubut made a substitution. Niles Moran replaced Andrézinho Pelé. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niles Moran was the one to do the kick off. Paco Zamora made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Hermelando Coello sent off a good shot on target. Hermelando Coello took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paco Zamora. Paco Zamora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 59 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Aparecido came free, but Paco Zamora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paco Zamora made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hermelando Coello in the 60th minute. Paco Zamora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Durval Aparecido notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of RB Chubut's Paco Zamora. Paco Zamora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kuido Undusk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niles Moran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Durval Aparecido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Paco Zamora made a huge save. Paco Zamora made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Hermelando Coello sent off a good shot on target. Romeo Loiola's late challenge caught a RB Chubut's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Loiola helped the player get up and apologised. Romeo Loiola hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match, Durval Aparecido tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paco Zamora saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hermelando Coello scored 0-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paco Zamora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
