Borys Patora dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Mendes in the 20th minute of play forced Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Armando Monico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21st play minutes Edmundo Mendes shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Armando Monico and just under the crossbar into goal. After some careless play in the Guiñazú FC defense, Edmundo Mendes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Monico. The Guiñazú FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Monico should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Guiñazú FC's Armando Monico got control of the ball when Aureliano Heriberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Guiñazú FC defense, Aureliano Heriberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Monico. The Guiñazú FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Monico should have stopped the shot. When Luciano Ostots fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guiñazú FC's protests and gave Luciano Ostots a yellow card for diving instead. Luciano Ostots kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Edmundo Mendes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Armando Monico, passed just outside the right post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ali Modrić was the one to do the kick off. If Edmundo Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st match minute, Los Playmobil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Mendes to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper Armando Monico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Emesto in the 65th minute of play forced Los Playmobil FC's goalkeeper Borys Patora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Adolfo Estavan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guiñazú FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Playmobil FC the free kick. A collision led to Guiñazú FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Adolfo Estavan hit a great ball. Cipriano Lauren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armando Monico. Guiñazú FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Los Playmobil FC's Iwan Kolbert was substituted for Aureliano Heriberto. After 87 played minutes Los Playmobil FC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Lauren. Borys Patora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Modrić, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Luciano Ostots kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Guiñazú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Mendes came free, but Armando Monico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Edmundo Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Monico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borys Patora was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Clemente Emesto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clemente Emesto really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. Guiñazú FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
