In the 15th minute Zé Pedro Montana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Kuhni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Blau Weiß Sauerland's Philip Schilder got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, FFC Merainies 03's Zé Pedro Montana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uwe Kuhni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Łukasz Zwolinski hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The FFC Merainies 03 fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when FFC Merainies 03's Zé Pedro Montana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When FFC Merainies 03's Zé Pedro Montana in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Uwe Kuhni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Łukasz Zwolinski in the 33rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Łukasz Zwolinski in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uwe Kuhni saved Blau Weiß Sauerland from getting behind. Alessio Bongartz might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alessio Bongartz ran back to his position shaking his head. Uwe Kuhni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Łukasz Zwolinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Łukasz Zwolinski in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uwe Kuhni saved Blau Weiß Sauerland from getting behind. Uwe Kuhni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Montana, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, FFC Merainies 03's Kevin Tevreden got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 46 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Botello. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Łukasz Zwolinski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Uwe Kuhni made a huge save. FFC Merainies 03's Leon Craandijk pulled a muscle in his leg after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorel Giubelean during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FFC Merainies 03's Andre Genkenaar was substituted for Leon Craandijk. Dorel Giubelean kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Blau Weiß Sauerland's Uwe Kuhni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Botello in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Adam Pingel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Fabio Botello almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Blau Weiß Sauerland's Uwe Kuhni did a great save. Blau Weiß Sauerland's Uwe Kuhni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Blau Weiß Sauerland from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Fabio Botello managed to get in a good position for a shot. FFC Merainies 03's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Botello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uwe Kuhni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Pingel in the 80th minute of play forced FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uwe Kuhni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Montana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th match minute, Blau Weiß Sauerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Bongartz to maneuver through the defense. Willi Reutter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FFC Merainies 03 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
