Victorino Lazcano ran back to his position shaking his head. Cacciola's Ivan Vlaykovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Lazcano in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Purple Talents was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Vissenaeckens to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Frabetti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Yu Cheng Kang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Vlaykovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes, Fulvio Serafini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cacciola and the Purple Talents players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cacciola's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
