A collision led to ASV Muziekwijk getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Stephan Stout hit a great ball. After 9 minutes, Wim Oosterman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASV Muziekwijk and the FC Bourgas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wim Oosterman kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Tommy de Zeeuw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoncho Menkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, FC Bourgas's goal looked a bit too open when Ton Meulman came free, but Levent Tuliyski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ton Meulman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Levent Tuliyski was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Nasko Ichev kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bourgas's zone, Dennis Hekman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Levent Tuliyski came out of the goal and Dennis Hekman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Galin Popovski got free with Tommy de Zeeuw in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th match minute, ASV Muziekwijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Koopmans to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, ASV Muziekwijk's Tommy de Zeeuw got control of the ball when Galin Popovski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, ASV Muziekwijk's Joop Jurjens got a free kick in the 30th minute. Marcel Wilson hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes FC Bourgas got a freekick which was hit by Nasko Ichev. In the 45th minute, Galin Popovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 66th match minute, FC Bourgas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grozdan Grigoriev to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bourgas's zone, Dennis Hekman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Levent Tuliyski came out of the goal and Dennis Hekman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Bourgas getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Apostol Artúchki hit a great ball. Tommy de Zeeuw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paun Baynov in the 81st minute of play. FC Bourgas's Levent Tuliyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ton Meulman in the 89th minute of play. FC Bourgas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
