Dagoberto Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, SAWEX FC's goalkeeper Leon Nowak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tito Gilabert. Cláudio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Lima in the 6th minute of the match. Alfredo Rossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Nowak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredo Rossi got free with Leon Nowak in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfredo Rossi took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Nowak. Leon Nowak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Rossi in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Nowak saved SAWEX FC from getting behind. After having played for 16 minutes, Alfredo Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club【LBF】's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Rossi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Racing Club【LBF】 getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Tito Gilabert hit a great ball. Cláudio Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dagoberto Lima in the 18th minute of the match. Lourenco Rusoto kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute SAWEX FC were awarded a corner. Sigvard Boström went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Racing Club【LBF】's goalie and right to Zbyszko Kajder. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Racing Club【LBF】's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to SAWEX FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Lourenco Rusoto hit a great ball. Leon Nowak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Rossi in the 27th minute of the match. Cláudio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Traczewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Placido Abeijon kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Tobiasz Traczewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club【LBF】's goalkeeper Cláudio Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Rossi in the 39th minute of play forced SAWEX FC's goalkeeper Leon Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 played minutes SAWEX FC got a freekick which was hit by Lourenco Rusoto. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tito Gilabert got free with Leon Nowak in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dagoberto Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. Dagoberto Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cláudio Taffarel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dagoberto Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. Racing Club【LBF】's Severino Jatsu was substituted for Tito Gilabert. 72 minutes into the match, Racing Club【LBF】's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Lima came free, but Cláudio Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cláudio Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Club【LBF】's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigvard Boström was slow to take the kick. During this time SAWEX FC's players had a chance to rest. Cláudio Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dagoberto Lima in the 90th minute. Dagoberto Lima in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cláudio Taffarel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
