Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mbaka Mbolu kicked off to start the match. Joar Scheie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Corderall in the 5th minute of play. Ray De Lauw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 6th minute of the match. Ray De Lauw didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 11 played minutes De Beverpatrouille got a freekick which was hit by Mbaka Mbolu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Corderall in the 14th minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15 minutes CAN ERZURUM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Beppe Ciccone who took care of the corner kick. The corner led De Beverpatrouille's Beppe Ciccone to fire away a dangerous shot which Joar Scheie despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With his leg Joar Scheie managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when De Beverpatrouille's Olliver Van Bever fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 19th minute of play forced De Beverpatrouille's goalkeeper Ray De Lauw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in De Beverpatrouille's zone, Sven-Olof Vestlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ray De Lauw came out of the goal and Sven-Olof Vestlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Corderall came free, but Joar Scheie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Sven-Olof Vestlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ray De Lauw was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute Sven-Olof Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray De Lauw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Vestlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ray De Lauw. De Beverpatrouille's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Olof Vestlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. De Beverpatrouille's Jordi Van Bever was substituted for Jonatan Corderall. CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mbaka Mbolu in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Mbaka Mbolu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Beverpatrouille fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ray De Lauw came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund. But to his dismay, Sven-Olof Vestlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Mbaka Mbolu might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joar Scheie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mbaka Mbolu ran back to his position shaking his head. Joar Scheie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mbaka Mbolu in the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Sven-Olof Vestlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAN ERZURUM's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Olof Vestlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray De Lauw breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CAN ERZURUM's Seyhun Orus was substituted for Hüsrev Özyay. 72 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Vestlund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ray De Lauw, 1-5. CAN ERZURUM made a substitution. Roberto-Carlos Maldini replaced Cengizhan Soyurgal. Ray De Lauw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Mehmet Şefik Karadağ managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAN ERZURUM's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Şefik Karadağ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray De Lauw breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, De Beverpatrouille's Ray De Lauw got control of the ball when Sven-Olof Vestlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. CAN ERZURUM's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
