Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) De Beverpatrouille's Mbaka Mbolu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, De Beverpatrouille's Mbaka Mbolu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andy Kau. Andy Kau yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ray De Lauw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Zambrano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mbaka Mbolu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Andy Kau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 14th minute of the match De Beverpatrouille got a corner. TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Beppe Ciccone ran over to the corner to take the kick. Olliver Van Bever made a great header on De Beverpatrouille's corner, it was just that TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's Andy Kau managed to reach the ball for a save. Ray De Lauw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Augusto Zambrano in the 23rd minute of the match. De Beverpatrouille's Mbaka Mbolu got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olliver Van Bever blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andy Kau having to make a save. Mbaka Mbolu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andy Kau came out and tried to block the shot, but Mbaka Mbolu slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, De Beverpatrouille's Gabriel Oihan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Ray De Lauw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick-Marc Brand in the 34th minute of the match. Patrick-Marc Brand took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ray De Lauw. Ray De Lauw dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's Carlos Augusto Zambrano got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mbaka Mbolu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

TSV 1860 Berg am Laim made a substitution. Franz Keck replaced Federico Valverde. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick-Marc Brand to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Mbaka Mbolu made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's Andy Kau tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Andy Kau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mbaka Mbolu in the 60th minute of play. Andy Kau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mbaka Mbolu's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's Andy Kau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mbaka Mbolu in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to De Beverpatrouille getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Hao Lin Zhen hit a great ball. Mbaka Mbolu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Kau having to interfere. Mbaka Mbolu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Beppe Ciccone was slow to take the kick. During this time De Beverpatrouille's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Beppe Ciccone got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andy Kau quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Andy Kau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mbaka Mbolu, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's Patrick-Marc Brand dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. Mbaka Mbolu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes TSV 1860 Berg am Laim got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Zambrano. Mbaka Mbolu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andy Kau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Mbaka Mbolu might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andy Kau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mbaka Mbolu ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Mbaka Mbolu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andy Kau. TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mbaka Mbolu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. When Aybars Öveç fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Beverpatrouille's protests and gave Aybars Öveç a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes De Beverpatrouille got a freekick which was hit by Aybars Öveç. 97 minutes into the game, one of TSV 1860 Berg am Laim:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. TSV 1860 Berg am Laim's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
