The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Primeiro got free with Cássio da Silva in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Trevisan's late challenge caught a Confederacion Argentina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Trevisan helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Cachaça FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Trevisan. Edvaldo Paraibano charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvaldo Paraibano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot 26 in the game by Cristobal Primeiro from a close distance when the talented Cássio da Silva managed to make a qualified save. Cachaça FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Koldobika in the 27th minute of play forced Cachaça FC's goalkeeper Cássio da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Primeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Cássio da Silva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 32 minutes into the game, Saul Koldobika cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cássio da Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvaro Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Siclovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Confederacion Argentina's Saul Koldobika nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cássio da Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Confederacion Argentina's zone, Nicolae Siclovan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Abadia came out of the goal and Nicolae Siclovan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nereo Matei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Cássio da Silva made a huge save. Gino do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolae Siclovan to make the kick off. With his leg Alvaro Abadia managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Cachaça FC's Gino do Vale fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 54th match minute, Cachaça FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Siclovan to maneuver through the defense. Cássio da Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Matei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Cachaça FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Abreu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 85 minutes, Nicolae Siclovan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachaça FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolae Siclovan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvaro Abadia came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cachaça FC's Gino do Vale. But to his dismay, Gino do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Confederacion Argentina's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
