Alican İçten scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Rondanelli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tao Xi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Mancheño in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Talcampeón FC were awarded a corner. Javiero Charme went to the cornerflag to take it. A sloppy throw-in by Jose Maria Cossio in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Flames FC's Camille Trudeau. Edgardo Rondanelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alican İçten, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Flames FC's Camille Trudeau got a free kick in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 50th minute, Alican İçten reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edgardo Rondanelli. The goal made the score 0-3. After some careless play in the Talcampeón FC defense, Alican İçten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Rondanelli. The Talcampeón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Rondanelli should have stopped the shot. Edgardo Rondanelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alican İçten's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Lopes came free, but Edgardo Rondanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Lolo Acharan put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Tao Xi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelino Fritz in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tao Xi saved Flames FC from getting behind. In the 87th match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosario Moyer to maneuver through the defense. After 89 minutes of play, Talcampeón FC's Marcelino Fritz made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tao Xi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Flames FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
