Fulgencio Villalcazar made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Jesus Casado sent off a good shot on target. Nestor Firmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertran Batuecas in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesus Casado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Padro in the 54th minute of play forced Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Fulgencio Villalcazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus Casado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fulgencio Villalcazar having to make a save. Fulgencio Villalcazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fulgencio Villalcazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute.
