With an extended leg and a bit of luck Greg House prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Egun in the 16th minute of play forced Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's goalkeeper Greg House to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Firmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Henry Eklund in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by TalleresUnited's John Fredriksson. The audience was convinced that Dorival Alvarenga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Firmin was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Greg House was a little too slow when Jesus Egun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-1. TalleresUnited made a substitution. Jesus Casado replaced Jesus Egun. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dorival Alvarenga might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Firmin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dorival Alvarenga ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, TalleresUnited's Nestor Firmin got control of the ball when Dorival Alvarenga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, TalleresUnited's Jesus Casado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Greg House narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's João Augusto Dinamite was substituted for Fabrício Dionísio. TalleresUnited's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felix Abad in the 68th minute. With an all-out effort, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Nestor Firmin threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hans Egfelt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. João Augusto Dinamite's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Nestor Firmin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of TalleresUnited booed when Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Eklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. TalleresUnited made a substitution. Pablo Domeka replaced Felix Abad. TalleresUnited's Eustaquio Chago was substituted for Ivan Jacindo. If Eustaquio Chago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Chago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Greg House was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Eustaquio Chago put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Greg House. 93 minutes into the match, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Chago came free, but Greg House reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF defense, Eustaquio Chago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Greg House. The Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Greg House should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for TalleresUnited.
