Amedeo Giancola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Prudencio Savier made a huge save. In the 43rd minute Florencio Monico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corrado Contestabile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Savier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amedeo Giancola's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.
