Dorel Lupșe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Viator's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. When Paulino Frutos fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olds School Pepo's protests and gave Paulino Frutos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Olds School Pepo getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Paulino Frutos hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Paulino Frutos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorel Lupșe. Granicerul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Frutos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dorel Lupșe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Serrizuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorel Lupșe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Serrizuela in the 25th minute of the match. Dorel Lupșe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Mendebal in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Olds School Pepo's Jacinto Nicholas got control of the ball when Narcis Istrate tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacinto Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Alberda in the 31st minute of the match. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 41 minutes into the game, one of Granicerul:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dorel Lupșe came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Olds School Pepo's José Serrizuela. But to his dismay, José Serrizuela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gigel Boeru got free with Jacinto Nicholas in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

After a rather tough play, Olds School Pepo's Virgilio Pedroso got a free kick in the 51st minute. Olds School Pepo's Paulino Frutos got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Granicerul made a substitution. Ionel Dănciulescu replaced Gigel Boeru. Dorel Lupșe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Mendebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Serrizuela took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorel Lupșe. Dorel Lupșe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The Olds School Pepo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Dorel Lupșe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 83rd minute Olds School Pepo were awarded a corner. Luis Gumaro went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but José Serrizuela advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-5 in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute Ionel Dănciulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Pagomari took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dorel Lupșe. Granicerul's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Dănciulescu in the 88th minute of play forced Olds School Pepo's goalkeeper Jacinto Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Olds School Pepo's José Serrizuela in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Patricio Pagomari kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Olds School Pepo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
