Ruperto Nayely took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Bartoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Nisio in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uriel Lano saved CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 from getting behind. Uriel Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Nisio, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Bonifacio Bartoli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruperto Nayely having to make a save. Flavio Escobar made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Arnulfo Liberto however managed to control. Eustaquio Txurio kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Uriel Lano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Vasco Lamego made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Nisio came free, but Uriel Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sotos Kastaniou hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Pendex's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Vasco Lamego scored to the left of an out of position Ruperto Nayely, making the score, 0-2. Pendex's Ryan Keuppens was substituted for Vicente Sugoi. Pendex's David Šácha was substituted for Rafael Nisio. A collision led to Pendex getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. With a little luck, Pendex's Ruperto Nayely got control of the ball when Carlos Alberto Tevez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pendex's David Šácha got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marcelo Delgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When David Šácha came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Pendex fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Šácha couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, David Šácha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pendex fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. CLUB QUEQUÉN 1854 played a much better game than Pendex and deserved their victory. The Pendex players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
