The crowd rose to their feet as FC Bansko's Bratan Rogev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luis Viejo. That made the score 1-1 after 9 minutes of play. Dimitar Vetzov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iaki Angles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Luis Viejo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 24th minute Iaki Angles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitar Vetzov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boca Gregorian Juniors's Luis Viejo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Gregorian Juniors from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Boca Gregorian Juniors's Wilfried Westerhof got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Avgustin Lúskov fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Bansko's protests and gave Avgustin Lúskov a yellow card for diving instead. Avgustin Lúskov hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Boca Gregorian Juniors got a corner. FC Bansko's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Demy Salens ran over to the corner to take the kick. A hard shot 39 in the game by Avgustin Lúskov from a close distance when the talented Luis Viejo managed to make a qualified save. Boca Gregorian Juniors's players were relieved. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iaki Angles made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Maju Gigante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dimitar Vetzov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avgustin Lúskov in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Viejo saved Boca Gregorian Juniors from getting behind. Luis Viejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avgustin Lúskov in the 62nd minute of play. FC Bansko's Dimitar Vetzov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Bansko from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Toma Matkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Viejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Bansko booed when Boca Gregorian Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfried Westerhof didn't get a good kick on the ball.
