Daniel Cambranes's late challenge caught a Ubatuba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Cambranes helped the player get up and apologised. If Juvenal Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eloy Romano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Paraibano in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Juvenal Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Romano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Juvenal Paraibano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Romano was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Hélder Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Jorrin in the 10th minute of play. Ubatuba's Hélder Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Cambranes in the 14th minute of play. FIORITO CITY's Eloy Romano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Henric in the 15th minute of play. Juvenal Paraibano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Romano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Ubatuba's goalkeeper Hélder Travassos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anier Cibran. Juvenal Paraibano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Romano having to make a save. Eloy Romano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Paraibano, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Juvenal Paraibano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Romano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Juvenal Paraibano might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Romano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juvenal Paraibano ran back to his position shaking his head. Juvenal Paraibano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Romano having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, Juvenal Paraibano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eloy Romano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Pedro Cardozo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Eloy Romano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Paraibano in the 36th minute of play. Juvenal Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eloy Romano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juvenal Paraibano went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Aurelio Sarracino in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ubatuba's Aristides Sagarteguieta. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juvenal Paraibano was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Daniel Cambranes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eloy Romano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juvenal Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ubatuba were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after FIORITO CITY's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aristides Sagarteguieta took the corner. The corner ended in Aristides Sagarteguieta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FIORITO CITY's Eloy Romano did a great save. Hélder Travassos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Jorrin went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute, Juvenal Paraibano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ubatuba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 66th minute of the match, Juvenal Paraibano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eloy Romano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Paraibano in the 69th minute of play forced FIORITO CITY's goalkeeper Eloy Romano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Leonides Oliviero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Paraibano took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Romano. Eloy Romano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Luiz Gustavo do Valle might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Romano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Gustavo do Valle ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute Luiz Gustavo do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Romano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes FIORITO CITY got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Sarracino. Eloy Romano came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Ubatuba's Luiz Gustavo do Valle. But to his dismay, Luiz Gustavo do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. 93 minutes into the match, FIORITO CITY's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo do Valle came free, but Eloy Romano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Urtsin hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Luiz Gustavo do Valle scored 1-7 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eloy Romano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ubatuba eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
