The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Charis Raftopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefano Ascani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Korpetis in the 6th minute of play forced BRAL VAL's goalkeeper Angelo Bonanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Bonanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Korpetis in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Nestoras Soulidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefano Ascani scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charis Raftopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. BRAL VAL's Angelo Bonanni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Korpetis in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute Stefano Ascani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charis Raftopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauricio Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Bonanni having to interfere. Angelo Bonanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Chago in the 32nd minute of the match. Luca Lucchetti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Charis Raftopoulos made a huge save. In the 34th match minute, BRAL VAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Lucchetti to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

BRAL VAL made a substitution. Alfredo Bucciarelli replaced Diego Lenci. Angelo Bonanni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andreas Korpetis's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Charis Raftopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido D'Angelo in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 minutes, Stefano Ascani mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BRAL VAL and the Vakoufi Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes BRAL VAL got a freekick which was hit by Stefano Ascani. Konstantinos Tsevas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Angelo Bonanni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Bonanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestoras Soulidis in the 61st minute of the match. Nestoras Soulidis was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Korpetis got free with Angelo Bonanni in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Bonanni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andreas Korpetis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 64 minute of play. Vakoufi Utd made a substitution. Themis Pepper replaced Nestoras Soulidis. Vakoufi Utd's Danilo Barrionuevo was substituted for Andreas Korpetis. After a defensive mix-up in Vakoufi Utd's zone, Stefano Ascani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Bonanni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantinos Tsevas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Vakoufi Utd were furious when Cristi Bădescu was red carded, 74 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 75th minute, Cristi Bădescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luca Lucchetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charis Raftopoulos having to interfere. Themis Pepper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Angelo Bonanni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Chago who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Angelo Bonanni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vakoufi Utd's Charis Raftopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefano Ascani in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Vakoufi Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aykut Berksan to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Vakoufi Utd defense, Luca Lucchetti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charis Raftopoulos. The Vakoufi Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charis Raftopoulos should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Barrionuevo in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Bonanni prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
