Lei Wei Lin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Erik Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Karl-Erik Mattsson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Abbotsford FC's Lei Wei Lin. Lei Wei Lin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Erik Mattsson in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lei Wei Lin saved Abbotsford FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Karl-Erik Mattsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lei Wei Lin was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Lei Wei Lin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Erik Mattsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the Abbotsford FC defense, Szczepan Zbydniewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lei Wei Lin. The Abbotsford FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lei Wei Lin should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Erik Mattsson in the 42nd minute of play forced Abbotsford FC's goalkeeper Lei Wei Lin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredric Olsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Perry Ackland in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Erik Mattsson to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Denny Commons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Su Xing Jie in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sannegården BK's Robin Rudkvist. Abbotsford FC's Lei Wei Lin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Eger in the 62nd minute of play. In the 70th minute, Róbson Eger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lei Wei Lin. The goal made the score 0-4. Anthony Meza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Lei Wei Lin made a huge save. Róbson Eger might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lei Wei Lin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Róbson Eger ran back to his position shaking his head. Lei Wei Lin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbson Eger in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Róbson Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lei Wei Lin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Abbotsford FC got a corner. Sannegården BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pierre Haeberle ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Pierre Haeberle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fredric Olsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sannegården BK were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Abbotsford FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anthony Meza took the corner. Abbotsford FC's Lei Wei Lin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbson Eger in the 88th minute of play. Sannegården BK's Fredric Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abbas Ağayarov in the 90th minute of play. Róbson Egers short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Lei Wei Lin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The throw-in from Haroldo Gregory in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sannegården BK's Robin Rudkvist. Róbson Eger was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Sannegården BK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Abbotsford FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sannegården BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Sannegården BK.
