Baptiste Després kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zelipe Hidalgo got free with José Alejandro Seisdedos in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zelipe Hidalgo scored 1-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Alejandro Seisdedos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Said Hamed in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giannis Papadas saved Centinela Español FC from getting behind. In the 48th minute, Tobías Rocuant ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giannis Papadas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Centinela Español FC's Cristiano Messi was substituted for Fabricio Iriberry. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

59 minutes into the match, Centinela Español FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tobías Rocuant came free, but Giannis Papadas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Fazzini in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Zelipe Hidalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Deportes La Serena's Remco van den Bergh was substituted for Baptiste Després. When Oriol Mora fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportes La Serena's protests and gave Oriol Mora a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Deportes La Serena booed when Centinela Español FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatán Adaos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
